JTHS Guidelines For Contributors

Every contribution should be typed on one side of A4 paper and double-spaced, with enough margins on the left and right hand. The cover page of articles should contain only the title to facilitate anonymous reviews by independent assessors. An abstract of about 200 words should be included in the paper.

The final version of an accepted manuscript should be word-processed and sent by email attachment. A list of key words (not more than six) should be provided to facilitate the production of an annual subject index. The references should be in APA format in which the authors’ names are set out in alphabetical order at the end of the article. In the text of the article, references are by the author’s name and year of publication.

Page proofs of articles accepted for publication will be sent to the authors for correction, as time permits. Timely return of corrected proofs is vital. Hence, contributors are discouraged at this stage from embarking on extensive changes that will probably delay the article.
